Dispensing Pharmacy Approvals

Gould Singleton Architects have recently been involved in obtaining Planning Consent for dispensing pharmacies in meeting the NHS Directives for incorporating dispensing pharmacies within Medical Centres.
Planning Permission has been secured in Coventry for Edgwick Surgery and Rajja Chemists for the incorporation of a new dispensary within the waiting area of the existing Surgery. Works are due to start on site December 2011.
Planning Approval was also obtained for a retail pharmacy on the Hadwen Medical Centre, Gloucester for Nightchem Pharmacy as part of the ongoing provision for pharmaceutical services within Primary Care Centres.
Gould Singleton are well versed in dealing with pharmacy applications to the Planning Authorities and providing information for the submission to the PCTs and assisting Practices and Pharmacists with their delivery of the NHS requirements.
