November 2009 - New Guidance for Healthcare Design HBN 11-01
The NHS launched the new HBN 11-01 in September which has far reaching impacts on the design and construction of Primary and Community Healthcare projects.

The new HBN replaces the previous NHS Website to Primary and Social Care Premises - Planning and Design Guidance.

Focus is placed on reviewing functional content and activity zone planning from the outset of the business case, and providing a scheme with flexibility within the design accommodating adaptability and future proofing.
