Completed on time in 36 weeks to a value of £1.4million, the school have the benefit of new purpose built facilities for photography, art, textiles, sculpture and woodwork. Set within the tight constraints of the existing school campus the building links to existing facilities with a bridge link and external remodelling of the forecourts. The design incorporates the use of modern materials contrasting against the existing traditional school buildings, and natural daylight and ventilation maximising light in the art studios for pupils and teachers.
