Gould Singleton Architects have been involved with this particular site for more than 15 years or so acting for the current property owner and were successful in securing detailed Planning Consent for a comprehensive redevelopment of the site back in 2010.

As a result of significant changes in design approach to schemes within the location with intense schemes of greater mass and scale, an alternative approach to the site has been presented as part of a Pre-application submission.

Careful consideration of the adjoining sites and extant permissions has been carried out and it is believed that the scheme proposals being submitted as part of the Pre-application submission follow the general urban grain that is now being accepted by Birmingham City Council for developments of this nature.

This exciting scheme for Bradford Street opens a new era for the client Barnett Developments, as it is anticipated that a full detailed Planning Application will be submitted following pre-application consultation with the City Council.
