Development of the site consists of 69 units in total comprising of 42 houses with a mixture of two bed and three bed dwellings, ranging from two to three to four storeys and a further 27 apartments, one and two bed across four storeys in an apartment block facing the River Derwent.
Overall layout and site orientation follows the original planning approval for the road layouts, site access and orientation of the blocks. Alterations to the original site plan were undertaken, having now demolished the site and surveyed levels and boundaries to enable the correct setting out to be plotted with minor adjustments to accurately suit existing site features, boundaries and the Mill Lade running through the site.
Generally, the block layouts were retained in line with the original approval maintaining the perimeter block layout and the public open space through the centre with the Mill Lade. Alterations to the apartments where the apartments have now been located in one block fronting the River Derwent and reconfiguring of plots on the entrance to the site to better suit the site access.
