Established as a central location for the Blue Cross and providing services from Burford throughout the country, the organisation seeks to continue to provide a recognised centre in Burford and increase facilities to meet current business demands.
The new office proposal seeks to enhance the Blue Cross support provision and space in order to provide a better service to its visitors and users. The company currently operates over two sites in a fragmented fashion with no centralized operations for daily business services. It is proposed that the new office block will group these business operations onto one site in order to enhance and build upon the services that the Blue Cross provide into the future.
Works are currently on-going with construction currently underway
During the design process, the Blue Cross identified a need for flexibility of space within the main office in order to provide a greater number of internal services and welcome a small number of visitors to the building for meetings and one to one conversation.
The ground floor will provide a large flexible open space with two individual private office spaces to the rear of the building. The first floor follows a similar pattern with the further inclusion of a new meeting room to the front
